In 2004, OCC got the incredible opportunity to open a second meal site in Moultonborough, New Hampshire. This site serves Congregate Meals and Meals on wheels to residents of Moultonborough and Sandwich and has since grown and reached several residents in those areas. We currently serve congregate and meals on wheels Monday through Thursday.
There has been some confusion surrounding the Meals on Wheels program in Moultonborough and Sandwich. This program is a satellite program of Ossipee Concerned Citizens, Inc. and has been since 2004. Moultonborough/Sandwich Senior Meals has been operating under the OCC's 501c3- we are all one nonprofit organization for the elderly and disabled. Ossipee Concerned Citizens, Inc being the contract holding organization is responsible for all meals, elderly nutrition programs as well as everything that entails- employees, equipment, food, and utilities. We all have one goal- no senior goes hungry!
The MSSM program is currently looking for volunteer meals on wheels drivers. You must have a valid drivers license, car insurance, and can pass a background check through the Bureau of Elderly and Adult Services. If interested please call Lindsey at (603) 476-5110 or you can also email at Ladjutantocc@gmail.com, or just stop in!
